Coin Strike

★★★★☆ 4.4 Editor rating

Coin Strike is one of those games that hides real depth behind a childishly simple idea. You flick coins across a board and try to clear stacks before they overflow the edge. The first few levels feel like a warm-up, but the physics get sneaky fast — coins bounce, ricochet, and knock into each other in ways you start to plan around.

Control is a single swipe: drag back to aim, let go to launch. That's it. What makes it click is the momentum system, where a well-placed strike sends a chain reaction across half the board. When it lands you feel like a genius, and when you miss it's clearly your own fault, which is exactly what a good arcade game should do.

We tested it across a couple of long sessions and never hit a wall of pop-ups begging us to return. Levels are short enough for a bus ride and hard enough that we kept saying 'one more.' The later stages introduce moving obstacles that force you to rethink your angles, and that's where it really shows its hand.
