About

Pixel Pine started as a group chat where a few of us kept swapping screenshots and arguing about which mobile games were worth a second evening. At some point we figured the notes were good enough to share, so we turned them into a small site.

There's no marketing team behind this. The editors install games, play them properly, and write down what stuck and what didn't. If a game bored us after twenty minutes, we say so.,We pick titles from a mix of sources: reader suggestions, what's trending in the stores, and the occasional deep cut that nobody talks about. Genre doesn't matter to us as much as whether the game respects your time and attention.,Every review is based on real play, not a press kit. We note the controls, the pacing, how it handles on an older phone, and whether it nags you to come back every ten minutes. That last part matters more than people admit.,We're a small team and we'd rather publish fewer, better reviews than flood the page. If you disagree with a score, tell us — half our best writing came from someone in the inbox pushing back.
